A hidden gem: my homeland Georgia
A HIDDEN GEEM; MY HOMELAND GEORGIA LEYLA ODZELASHVILI As a Georgian I think it is a great privilege to tell people about this often undiscovered and small country located between Europe and Aisa with welcoming people and wonderful nature and its historic roots. The capital city of Georgia is Tbilisi, the word tbili- can actually be translated to warm, which I assure you that Georgians are when it comes to hospitality and guests. This city is full of life and colour, old Tbilisi is my favourite as this is where you can find the old traditional buildings as well as lovely traditional restaurants and cafes. Tbilisi has many historic churches but one of the most beautiful church is called Sameba which you can see illuminated completely at night. Georgian cuisine has been famous among tourists for their delicious foods, such as khachapuri, our cheese filled bread or khinkali , juicy and delicious dumplings.
